Lauren Nixon

My name is Lauren Nixon. I am an Oregon native. Currently, I am a graduate student at Western Oregon University in the Masters of Science in Education - Information Technology program. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Western Oregon University in June 2012. Since then I have been working in the Corvallis and Central School Districts as a substitute while I complete my Masters. I chose to get my Masters in information technology because I noticed how engaged students were when activities incorporated technology even in the simplest way, as well as how technology lends its self easily to meeting a variety of learning styles and needs of students.
